Rescue Rangers is a two-player co-op platformer: the Rangers are trapped in a desert temple and have to work together to solve its puzzles and escape. Each player moves with one hand on the keyboard — A and D to walk and W to jump on one side, the Left and Right arrow keys to walk and the Up arrow to jump on the other. There is no shooting or fighting button to learn; the whole game is moving, jumping and figuring out how the two of you get through each room together.
Rescue Rangers keeps things small: two characters, three keys each, and a temple full of puzzles that the publisher describes as needing both Rangers to solve. That simplicity is the appeal.
