Since this list was first written, we built our own puzzle games. Three of them are co-op. You solve the puzzle with a partner, not against one. Nobody loses.
Tether ties two orbs to one rope. Nodes light up when the rope sweeps them, not when you touch them. Anchor one orb, and the other can swing around it. Play solo, or drive one orb each on one keyboard.
Beam splits one puzzle between two roles. One of you aims a beam of light. The other can only walk where the light falls. The player who sees the answer cannot move the light. That gap is the game.
Color Gates gives each player one color, and the floor is tiled in both. One trade swaps your colors with your partner. The tile you need is always the one they just left.

How to Get the Most Out of Puzzle Games
Pick the right pace. Sudoku and Lingo Dreams are slow-paced — you think, you choose, you're done. Paint Rush and timed tile games like Daily Match reward fast pattern recognition. Don't force yourself into the wrong mode.
Use mobile for commutes. Every 📱 game above plays well on a phone. Match Fighter isn't flagged for phones, so save it for a laptop when you have a friend around.
